The upcoming science-fiction action film has achieved a Guinness World Record for the Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time, with 37 performers captured simultaneously during one session.
The record was achieved in Mumbai and officially certified on September 15, 2026. Allu Arjun and Atlee were presented with the Guinness World Records certificate recognising the achievement.
The milestone also comes as Atlee marks his 40th birthday, adding another notable moment to the filmmaker’s ongoing project.
Raaka Sets Guinness World Record With 37 Performers
The record-breaking motion-capture session was conducted earlier this year as part of the film’s extensive production process.
A total of 37 performers were captured simultaneously, requiring a large technical setup designed to record individual performances in real time.
Motion capture is commonly used in large-scale visual-effects productions to translate performers’ physical movements into digital characters or environments. Achieving the process simultaneously with dozens of performers requires coordination between the performers and multiple technical systems.

The footage shows the performers working inside the motion-capture environment while technical teams oversee the recording process.
According to the supplied details, the setup featured 92 optical motion-capture cameras, supported by calibration, networking, synchronisation and real-time visualisation systems.
