Mumbai: Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent 2 has become the subject of a fresh complaint after an episode featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, Bhuvan Bam and comedian Kaustubh Agarwal appeared on Netflix.
A complaint has reportedly been submitted against Mukesh Chhabra and Netflix India over an alleged sexually suggestive remark attributed to Chhabra during the episode. The complaint was filed by Anurag Shrivastav after he watched the programme.
Importantly, the allegation has not been independently verified, and the complaint itself calls for the original recording, voice identification, context and timestamp to be examined before any conclusion is reached.

According to an IANS report cited in coverage of the matter, Shrivastav said he watched the episode on Netflix while staying at a hotel in Mumbai on the evening of September 22.
The complainant alleged that a remark containing vulgar language was made during the programme and attributed it to Mukesh Chhabra. He described the alleged statement as inappropriate and sexually suggestive.
However, the complaint also reportedly asks authorities to establish whether the statement was actually made as alleged. It specifically raises the need to verify the identity of the speaker, the complete context of the conversation and the precise timestamp from an original, unedited recording.
