Following BLACKPINK’s 10th anniversary, members Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa are turning their attention back to individual music projects, with a series of solo releases lined up after the group’s latest chapter.
The quartet celebrated the milestone on August 8, 2026, after a period focused heavily on group activities. BLACKPINK spent the latter part of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 on their world tour before releasing their third EP, BLACKPINK, in February. The project marked the group’s first album release in almost four years.
With the anniversary period and recent group activities behind them, Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa are now moving into another solo-focused phase.
Jennie Leads the New Solo Release Cycle
Jennie is among the first BLACKPINK members to return with new individual music.
Her digital EP Fallen Angel arrives around a year and five months after her debut solo full-length album, Ruby.
The three-track project includes the title song “Heaven” and “Less Than a Lover.” The latter was released ahead of the EP on July 24.
“Less Than a Lover” takes an alternative-pop direction and features Jennie’s involvement in both its songwriting and composition. The track adopts a comparatively restrained sound compared with some of her earlier solo releases.
Following its release, the song reached the top of iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 27 regions, according to the supplied report.
Jisoo Announces New Single Click
Next in the solo rollout is Jisoo, who is set to release her new single “Click” on September 4.
The song marks her first solo release since her 2025 EP Amortage and is also being described as her first LP-era release.
Jisoo has already built a strong solo chart presence. Her earlier single “Earthquake” topped Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
She also collaborated with Zayn on “Eyes Closed” in October 2025. The track debuted at No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100, according to the supplied information.
Her upcoming release therefore continues the solo career she has been developing alongside BLACKPINK’s group activities.
Lisa Sets October Release for Press Play
Meanwhile, Lisa is preparing another full-length solo project.
Her next album, Press Play, is scheduled for release on October 23. Before the album arrives, Lisa is expected to release “SaWaDiKa” on September 3.
The title takes inspiration from the Thai greeting “sawasdee ka”, reflecting Lisa’s connection to her Thai heritage.
The upcoming six-track album is expected to incorporate elements of that background alongside Lisa’s experiences as an international performer.
Press Play follows her debut full-length album Alter Ego, which arrived around a year and eight months earlier and included songs such as “Rockstar,” “New Woman” and “Born Again.”
BLACKPINK’s Solo Careers Continue to Develop
The current solo rollout follows a pattern established by the members after their individual activities expanded beyond YG Entertainment.
Lisa’s “Rockstar” in 2024 was followed by releases that further established the individual musical identities of the BLACKPINK members.
Jennie released “Mantra”, while Rosé achieved major attention with “APT.”, her collaboration with Bruno Mars. Jisoo also continued her solo run with “Earthquake.”
The individual projects have allowed each member to explore different musical styles while continuing to participate in BLACKPINK’s group activities.
What About Rosé?
At present, Rosé is the only BLACKPINK member who has not announced new solo music for 2026, based on the information available for this report.
That leaves Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa as the members with solo releases currently lined up following BLACKPINK’s 10th-anniversary celebrations.
