Fahadh Faasil offered a rare and humorous glimpse into his marriage to Nazriya Nazim while praising his young co-star Ssara Palekar at the Don’t Trouble The Trouble event.

Fahadh recently offered fans a glimpse into their equation during an appearance at the Don’t Trouble The Trouble event. While praising his young co-star Ssara Palekar, the actor made a playful reference to Nazriya, describing himself as being “married to a child.”
His comment was made in the context of discussing patience, co-star dynamics and his experience working with the young actor.

While speaking about working with Ssara Palekar, Fahadh recalled how the young actor helped him on the sets whenever he struggled with his lines.
Introducing the anecdote with a reference to his marriage, Fahadh said, “So, I’m married to a child, and so I… people ask me, your child management patience is great. So, I said, I have one at home; I’ve been dealing with that. But I met a child who dealt with me.”
The remark was a playful reference to Nazriya and the couple’s personal dynamic.
Fahadh then shifted his focus to Ssara, praising her patience and preparation during the filming process.
“I have never had such a patient co-actor with me, and till date, she is my favourite co-star,” he said.
The exchange gave fans a rare public glimpse into Fahadh and Nazriya’s marriage, particularly because the couple generally avoids discussing their relationship in detail.

Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim’s relationship
Fahadh and Nazriya first met professionally while working on Anjali Menon’s Bangalore Days. The 2014 Malayalam film also starred Dulquer Salmaan and Nivin Pauly.
The two actors eventually began dating and got engaged in January 2014. They married later that year in Thiruvananthapuram in August 2014.
Despite being one of Malayalam cinema’s most recognisable couples, Fahadh and Nazriya have generally maintained a private personal life.
In a recent conversation with Galatta, Fahadh also spoke about how he spends his time away from cinema and jokingly mentioned that he enjoys “fighting with his wife” at home.
His latest comments about being “married to a child” similarly reflected the light-hearted way in which he sometimes talks about his relationship with Nazriya.

Beyond their marriage, Fahadh and Nazriya also share a professional association through their production banner, Fahadh Faasil and Friends, which was established in 2014.
The production house has backed several Malayalam films, including Varathan (2018) and Kumbalangi Nights (2019).
Kumbalangi Nights went on to receive the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value.

On the acting front, Nazriya was last seen in Sookshmadarshini in 2024. She is also associated with an upcoming, yet-to-be-titled project alongside Suriya, directed by Jithu Madhavan.
Fahadh, meanwhile, was recently seen in Patriot.
His upcoming project Don’t Trouble The Trouble marks another major release, with the film set to arrive in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil.
