Tamannaah Bhatia is bringing a distinctly Bihar-inspired aesthetic to her The Vvaan promotions. For her latest appearance, the actor paired a yellow-and-blue Torani saree with a hand-painted Madhubani dupatta featuring Radha and Krishna, creating a look that connected traditional Indian craftsmanship with the world of her upcoming film.
The ensemble was also chosen for Radha Ashtami, and Tamannaah described the outfit on Instagram as an “ode to Bihar and the wonderful world of The Vvaan.”
Rather than treating the cultural references as simple styling details, the actor used the saree, dupatta and jewellery to build a look around Bihar’s traditions and the film’s regional setting.

“During Chhath, we pray not only to the rising sun but also to the setting sun. Our yellow hue transitioning to a deep blue honours the light as it leaves and as it returns.”

The most distinctive element of Tamannaah’s ensemble was the hand-painted Madhubani dupatta, also referred to as an odhna.
