The press gathering was scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm, but journalists reportedly waited for hours without receiving clear updates about when the session would start. The prolonged delay eventually became the central talking point of an event that was expected to introduce the highly anticipated epic to the media.
When Ranbir Kapoor learned that some journalists had already left, he reportedly told those still present, “Aap logon ko jana hai toh chale jao” (If you people want to leave, you can leave).
Producer Namit Malhotra later apologised to members of the media over the delay.
