Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla’s latest clash on Rise & Fall 2 has brought an old public disagreement back into the spotlight.
The two contestants have previously found themselves on opposite sides of political and social debates, including discussions around nationalism, religion, patriarchy and the portrayal of Jauhar in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Their differences, however, existed long before they entered the reality-show environment.
