“Women are expected to be strong, women are expected to be sensitive, women are expected to be many things. And different women handle things differently, so there is no generic rule.”
She added:
“Like when you say that public criticism is disappointing, I am sure it can be for many people; we are all human. We just deal with it in a way that makes sense for us.”
Her comments came as the conversation around Katrina’s postpartum appearance continued online.

Earlier, Salman Khan addressed the discussion during Weekend Ka Vaar on Bigg Boss 20.
He questioned why a woman should be subjected to scrutiny over her weight or appearance shortly after giving birth. Salman also spoke about the physical changes that can accompany pregnancy and said Katrina should have the freedom to spend time with her family after becoming a mother.
“Pregnant hone ke baad everyone puts on weight,” Salman said during the episode, adding that Katrina could work on her fitness when she returned to films.
